If you are planning some Ohio RV travel, we have stayed at the RV parks and campgrounds below. The weather in the summer is great. When home, we live right on the Ohio border. Justin is a Greenville, PA, native, and he actually grew up as a Cleveland Browns fan before they moved to Baltimore. But now, our loyalty is with Pittsburgh. But, we have no shame in saying we love spending time in Ohio too.
Where to Stay in Ohio
Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort – Geneva, Ohio – Sun RV Resorts Very close to downtown Geneva-on-the-Lake. We even took our Cricket golf cart (not street legal) into the strip without any problem. The bar at the RV Resort is on the Lake Erie Monster Crawl.
Kenisee Lake, Jefferson, Ohio – The first Thousand Trails campground we ever stayed in (while we had the Little Guy) and then later in a tent. Nice spacious sites. I can’t resist this video that we took at Kenisee Lake. I honestly don’t know what what she was singing.
Pymatuning Adventures Resort, Williamsfield, Ohio – KOA and Travel Resorts of America. Make sure to check out the carp at the Linesville Spillway. This is really close to our house and where Justin grew up. We kind of feel like we are camping in our backyard!
Rocky Fork Ranch, Kimbolton, Ohio – Travel Resorts of America. Close to Salt Fork State Park. The boat rental prices are amazing! Their horse back riding is pretty fun too. Stay in the fall, and you will be treated to chestnuts every two years. We have stayed in our RV and in a cabin here.
Wilmington RV Campground, Wilmington, Ohio – Thousand Trails. Close to Dayton, the home of the Wright brothers, and the National Museum of the US Air Force.
