Diamond Caverns RV Campground – This camprgound is just outside of the Mammoth Cave, which is a definitely must-see in the US (and something fourth graders learn about).
We were met at the office, and the ranger took Justin around in a golf cart to pick the site that would be best for us. I don’t remember a lot of “amenities,” but we were on the go, so didn’t need a restaurant or store. Great location to tour Mammoth Cave, the Abraham Lincoln birthplace, the “Bourbon Trail” and Louisville (although there is a time change between Louisville and certain places on Bourbon Trail).
